The dialogue definitely felt like everyone was trying to have the cadence of Lorelei Gilmore, which felt a little awkward at times. But I loved all the angst involved in this second chance romance. I can understand why people don't like the main conflict, but it honestly felt real to me (as a person who's bad at communicating and shoves feelings deep inside)
