The Lost Girls of Devon by Barbara O'Neal

4.0

I really enjoyed this book but in the last 1/4 of it I had to go back and reread because big plot points were dropped in from nowhere. I felt like I had skimmed over something but I hadn't. That was dissappointing.

Other than that I really enjoyed the characters and as a Mom of teenagers my heart hurt for what Isabella went through. Zoe and also Poppy's anger was justified but I loved it showed them both having to control themselves for Isa to make her own decisions. Cooper sounds like a dreamboat...but I liked the just the strong, dependable nature he seemingly has. Lillian's story is heartbreaking but accurate when dealing with dementia and the like. I wish we were able to read about Diana more, I feel like that would have made those big plot points track better for me.
