This was an insta love story of two individuals that met while the other was grieving the loss of a parent.
Nicole had a "maybe boyfriend" when she went to Mexico and met Derek. Derek was interested in her the minute he saw her in the hotel lobby and was falling for her after the second drink. They were quite the pair; Nicole with the maybe boyfriend and Derek with the scorned ex-girlfriend/employee.
Putting all the drama aside, it was a beautiful love story of insta love.
