3.5
A mysterious personal journey of grief, shame, and, ultimately, healing set in a bleak not-too-distant future where 80% of animals have gone extinct.
Not my usual fare but the glaciers on the front cover and “Migrations” title called to me.
The author goes back and forth on our main’s timeline slowly revealing why she is hell bent on following the last colony of Arctic Terns. It gets pretty sad tbh but intriguing and has some Irish seafaring adventure vibes.
