What can I say about a book that is this profound? This book is raw, painful, cruel, yet beautiful and inspiring. Its authenticity to real lived experiences - the survival despite it all - is what makes this piece fundamentally revolutionary. 

There were times during this book when I felt fear gripping into me in some way or another. I hope that Jess and her contemporaries having been through it all and survived in spite of it is inspiring to all of us in rough times.
