Walden Two by B.F. Skinner

3.0

It is an interesting book, not really a novel in the sense of a narrative or story the builds a picture of a person's life. More a staged argument and the careful detailing of one of the many ways capitalism could be dismantled. As one who grew up in communes it clearly lacked rigor in the handling of edge cases, interpersonal dispute resolution, abuse and crimes of passion. It's nice to imagine that such things could be trained out of generations but systems for dealing with them until then need to be clear, well articulated transparent and just. I'll read more Skinner in time.
