I am in shambles. This was sad and heartbreaking. This is why I don't read books like these. I knew what this book was about before I bought and read it and it still hurt so much at the end. This is also exactly why this book has been sitting on my bookshelf since 2021. Jonah and Kacey- the emotional connection they had in that short amount of time they had was so heartwarming but sad at the same time. I loved them together and as individuals. They were both so incredibly brave. It was so sweet yet so depressing. They deserve so much better.
About the second book in this duology, I don't know man...because It's about Theo and her and I don't know how to feel about that. It might be some time before I read that one. But this book, 10/10.
