Reread september 2022:
I think my favorite part of this book is when Miro goes in to take over in Custodial. He just makes it happen, and I love to think there are actual Miro's out there who'd go the extra mile for kids. <3
Also, just as impressed with the whole Dr. Hartley and Miro development. It's really well done, despite not going the normal route. It felt very believable.
This book was everything. I loooooooooooved it.
