Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (Disney Classic) by Random House Disney

3.0

As a kid, this was my favorite Disney princess story. There weren't that many back then, Snow White, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty are the only ones I remember, and I was delighted that Snow White was brunette. The dwarves seemed like a fun group of friends and Snow White seemed pleased to be living with them.

As an adult, I find this one more challenging to read to my kids both because it repeats the step-parents are evil tropes and because Snow White returns from eating a poisoned apple, and I'm worried about giving kids the wrong idea about household poisons or death.
