This is an outlier in the Expanse Series, it's feels like a bit of a bunny trail. I get what the authors are trying to do in telling a story of colonization on an alien world, but I'm not sure if needed to be over 600 pages long.
Over-all I enjoyed the story, but it's not my favorite addition to the Expanse universe. Which sounds worse than it is, overall I am really enjoying the journey of James Holden and his crew. I just didn't like this AS much as I have other parts of this series.

Graphic: Violence and Xenophobia
Moderate: Murder and Death
