This book was not what I was expecting. I read the blurb, figured it would be a little magician banter romance. Of course, this piqued my interest though. However, I found myself captivated by the magic and atmosphere of this book. I had a hard time reading it for long periods of time, for fear it would end. I was completely immersed in every aspect of this book. The competition, the execution, it was beautiful. The introduction of the side characters, and emerging main characters was perfect. READ THIS BOOK.

Okay, the ONE plot point I didn't like was the ending.
KINDA SPOILERS !!
They should've let go. Trapped for eternity is not cute and would get like so boring tbh. I think there could've been another way they could've stayed together...or maybe, just maybe, we should let them go completely.
