I picked this up because I loved the game as a young teen. I wasn't expecting much, especially after reading the foreword and seeing that this book was required by the publisher to come out in conjunction with the game. I'm glad I didn't really have any sort of expectations because, while silly, crass, and quick, it is based on a point and click game, the characters are all one dimensional and the overall story is just okay.
This really only seems worthwhile if you have played the game and want a bit more of the backstory of the building of the Starship Titanic (more than the email exchanges you can read in game) and then just want a goofy, tropey, story.
It was a bit rough getting through the first 20 or so pages because it feels like someone trying to write like Douglas Adams and not quite hitting the mark.
