This was really cute. Sometimes you need a little fluffy romance and this one was just right.
We got the amnesia troupe (not my favourite but it was okay), mild grumpy x sunshine, a little bit of spice, hidden identity, and hockey boy gamer girl. I love hockey romances so much.
I also wanted to point out the representation in this for mental health and women of colour was amazing, we had a POC main character that had anxiety and dyslexia. And can I say she was such a sweet character, she was so nice to everyone and she made everyone smile like I am IN LOVE with her.
My only thing that I wasn’t to keen on was the amnesia troupe, I did feel that it was a bit of a random one and wasn’t brought up as much. But besides that I loved the relationship Finn had with Naomi, they had such sweet moments that had my smiling at my kindle.
Definitely recommend this, if you love hockey romance and a gamer girl this is the one for you.
