wow ok this was unexpected. i went into this book fully sure that i was going to hate it but it was actually fun! there's a lot of plot in here, too much plot tbh.

there's loss of a loved one (so tw for that), forced proximity as the mc has to move into her friends apartment and share it with her friend's friend. needless to say, they hate each other. that, by itself, could've been the whole book but no. her current boyfriend, as she finds out, is actually a cheater (i won't say more), the guy she has to live with is a musician (vocalist + guitarist, which is enough for me to be won over if im being honest) and there's another plotline that i won't talk about because it's kind of shocking, and i don't want to ruin that.

overall, very fun book. i smiled and giggled a bit. im not really in a romance novel mood at the moment but i still enjoyed this. the writing wasn't the best though, so keep that in mind. it's free to borrow from the prime reading catalogue, atleast in india, so def recommend giving it a shot if you've got nothing to read
