Fantastic book. Coming in at a hefty 573 pages this went by much quicker than I thought. It truly is one of the best books I've ever read, and after finishing it I went out and bought matching editions of the rest of the series. Moberg somehow manages to describe everything in the right amount of detail at all times, which kept me engaged but did not feel stagnant at any point. Part of the Swedish literary "canon" for a reason!
