Soma gains entry into the Polaris dorm, has a cookoff with the #7 student at the academy, and wins a cookoff with a super oversexualized 14 year old. I get the humor of people orgasming over his food, but I find it super awkward when they're mostly first and second years in high school!

I did learn onion tenderizes steak so that's cool. Thanks Aaron for letting me borrow this volume!
