Incidents Around the House by Josh Malerman

1.0

The only horrors that persisted is how shit these parents were. There has been a tiny hint of creepy but not nearly enough. A la croix beverage amount of creepy flavor if you will LMAO. Stuff with "other mommy" is too few and far between. It's been really repetitive with the domestic drama *eyeroll*, and I also did not love the insanely choppy dialogue of Bela. Was this supposed to be the dialogue of an eight year old or a toddler regurgitating big words? lol. Maybe it was the narrator doing a child's voice that made it that much worse for me.

I'm sorry I'm being a hater. I know you all love this book, but i just can't. ๐Ÿ˜‚

I thought the twist at the beach was cringe and underwhelming lmao. The ending was so disappointing, and it felt unfinished.maybe if the ending was actually somewhere in the middle of the book instead and then continued on. Maybe then, I would have even liked this book *a little.*

I am so glad I borrowed this from libby and did not pay hardcover money $$$$ for this book ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป

Anyway, this is just my opinion. Take it with a grain of salt. Read the books YOU want to read and form your own opinions๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿปโค๏ธ reading is subjective, y'all.
