This is what happened. I cried. A lot. This story is something that I struggle to read to my siblings because of how poignant it is at focusing on self-love and self-worth as a young black child in this world. I struggled because I could heavily relate to what Sulwe was feeling and was going through in order to feel comfortable in her own skin. Beautiful. Gorgeous. Run to the store. Run to your phone. Get this book like yesterday. 

Lupita, actress from notably Black Panther and many other films, is a master storyteller. Strongly recommend this book for yourself and for your loved ones.
