Black Dawn by Rachel Caine

3.0

I'm very confused by this book. It was good to have even more perspectives in this book - including that of Hannah - which was interesting. However, I spent the majority of the book wondering what was going on. Too many things happened at once and when one thing was over, something else started too quickly. It was overwhelming and I lost track of what was happening in the book.

It follows the same sort of pattern as the previous books, with someone needing to be saved from the enemy and they go regardless of the safety. Which does make it interesting - but it would be good to have a different scenario in each book otherwise it becomes repetitive.

This book saw the rise of different characters but in the end, nothing really changes. It kept me entertained for a while but it wasn't my favourite, which is why I have given it 3 stars.
