I was hoping this would be just a fun time, while it was easy to read the characters were so frustrating it was annoying. Both the female mc and the male love interest came off really cocky without anything endearing about them. Eventually the love interest showed some growth that made me warm up to him a bit but the main character did not and I didn’t want to root for her at any point in this book. She was content to stay in her ways and not deal with her problems. This man went out of his way twice to tell her he was into her and wanted to be in a relationship with her and both times she was just like idk and then would get mad that he was upset. He just laid his heart on the line and all you can muster up is idk. Halfway through this book it felt like the story was over so I was surprised there was still so much left and then it just kind of lingered for awhile.
