Not gonna lie, I didn't expect to like this as much as I did when I first started. I thought Sean was super annoying with all of the rom-com commentary and how he loved them so much he compared every aspect of his and everyone else's life to them. I also thought Crest(Ross) was super annoying with their intense hatred for everything human-related. I understand not wanting to do something or thinking that it didn't matter, but they were so excessive about it. And I know being super excessive was part of what was supposed to make this funny, but in the beginning I didn't like or know the characters enough to care and it mostly just got on my nerves.

But by the end of this? I was giggling and kicking my feet IN PUBLIC. This ended up being super adorable, and I would be lying if I said the ending was what I was expecting. Even after when I was like "Oh yes!" more things happened after that had me going "Oh??"

I also appreciate the distinct lack of homophobia. It was amazing to read something that didn't even have a whiff of it. I also appreciate the mention of how hypocritical the entire Journey was. I was thinking it, and I would have mentioned it in the review regardless, but if it hadn't been mentioned I would have been complaining instead of commending the author.

Did not expect this to be 5 stars and I'm so glad I read it.
