Trick Mirror: Reflections on Self-Delusion, by Jia Tolentino
2.0
2.5 stars.
Well written and informative, but so, so redundant. I enjoyed Tolentino's writing style for the most part and I appreciated her feminist standpoint on many of these issues, but I found myself more annoyed than not when listening -- as the essays felt long due to constant philosophizing and intellectualizing of modern day occurrences.
