This volume loses a star for how utterly annoying Zenitsu is. I know that he’ll become more tolerable later, but getting through these early scenes with him is insufferable.
This is my first time reading the manga and I am deeply unsettled by Inosuke. His boar mask is so freaky in the artist’s style. I’m not complaining, it’s really cool, but I am still freaked out.
“His confusion would not stop…so he stopped thinking.” This quote is such a vibe. 10/10. New life motto.
