The Cat Who Moved a Mountain by Lilian Jackson Braun

3.0

These books are like my old, worn out, but super comfortable slippers. When I can find them in audio, I give them a re-listen. When I can't, I read/re-read them. Are the staggering works of literary genius? Nope. But there are times when they are just what I need.

It's funny, because some parts of the book, I remember with such clarity. While others, it's like reading it for the first time. But with a little bit of deja-vu thrown in for good measure. I do like this particular entry for touching upon deforestation, over-developing, and other environmental issues. I do think they mystery wraps up a bit too quickly, but overall, not a bad read.

Ah well, bring on the cats, the cozy mystery, and the nostalgia!
