I really liked this book! The tandem read was a little annoying, but I think I preferred that to reading them separately. I just wish they were written that way! But overall loved the story! I didn’t really like the love stories at first. It annoys me how often people shift lovers in this series, but I did think it ended well, and I loved the couples in the end!  There was one scene that was very cruel and had me bawling! 
But overall loved the story and the characters (though Chaol got annoying at times)!
