The Facemaker: A Visionary Surgeon's Battle to Mend the Disfigured Soldiers of World War I by Lindsey Fitzharris
informative
inspiring
medium-paced

I don't feel that I have much to say about this book, other than that I found it very interesting! Granted, I knew almost nothing about the subject going in, but I felt that Fitzharris approached this topic in a very humanising and respectful way. I learnt a lot and found the writing style enjoyable to read, if a bit repetitive in places.
