really great adaptation! love love love ellie, shes adorable and has more personality than edward. the way montgomery is drawn reminds me of my grandpa which i liked. also loved shepherd, the fact the saint bernard man is left out of all the other adaptations makes me sad because hes an important character, he kinda reminded me of jim howick in this for some reason?? the ending is also really sweet. honestly my favourite parts might be the little chats between the authors at the end of each issue because i really agreed with their perspectives on the original novel. it really is sad all the movies suck because the material for something great is there and i think this proves that! you can be a little bit unfaithful, fuck around, modernize it or whatever and make it a fun and unique thing because it is a pretty bland book honestly, this comic adds a lot of life to it and the illustrations are gorgeous
