Honestly one of my favorite reads loved the way Adam as a character struggles with loving were he's from even when its a struggle. I likes the magic system how mysterious it was left even with keeping an air of order. The characters were pretty lovable and it was nice to see some more realistic situations/conversations people in the book reacted like people. 

The twists were fun and seemed to have to right amount of buildup and I liked how no character felt overpowered some were definitely more powerful or knowledgeable but they could still be tricked 

I can't wait to continue with the series
