Maud was so delightfully ridiculous in the first book, I had to keep up with her in this one. I did a combo of listening and reading the physical book and I have to say that I definitely preferred the physical read. The audio made me not really "like" Maud as much. She seemed so much more sinisterly conniving while listening versus how I read her. Will still keep reading if there are more books, but the first one remains my favorite of the two.
