Emily Henry can do no wrong when it comes to creating angst you can root for. Harriet and Wyn were perfectly matched when it came to that.
I will say, having read her other works, this felt a bit cheesier, a little more convoluted because of the 4-minute aspect. It felt a little more high school.
That doesn’t mean I didn’t enjoy it! I loved the Maine setting.
I also really liked her delving into the role parents play in how people love.
