Alexis Hall is one of my favorite authors these days; even with the sheer amount of books he's able to put out, they are always such enjoyable reads, and this was no exception!
Sam and Jonathan perfectly represent how Grumpy/Sunshine should be done because when Alexis Hall commits to a trope, boy does he! The romance between the two had me immediately rooting for them, even as Jonathan was still in the heights of his Grumpiness. Personally, I appreciated the dynamics of workplace relationships were taken somewhat seriously in this, with the eventual decision being made between the two working out for everyone, including the side characters. I also really enjoyed the way Sam's backstory was given to us in these little bits, even though he was narrating; it made the ending all the more satisfying.
Alexis Hall slayed this one and I am already ready for another one!!
