A Touch of Light by Thiago Abdalla

Well, I'm glad I finished it. I wasn't sure I would since I simply could not get in this one! I think there's a strong idea of a story here, but the storytelling needs some tweaking. The first half of the book, I was confused about many things, which made it hard to be motivated to read. There were too many unexplained characters and cities, and aspects of characters (which I see now were intended to be mysterious), that combined were distastefully confusing.
The last quarter of the book was better, and some things became clearer. If only the book was more clear from the start, I would give it more stars.
