Aurora's End by Amie Kaufman, Jay Kristoff
5.0
Oof! What a way to end this space escapade! I wasn't sure I was going to like it once I got to the final part of this book. I truly thought I was about to be let down after the journey I went through. I was fully prepared to give it a 2 star review and at the last minute the crew pulled through for me. It had me crying at the end.
Picks up immediately where it left off in AC .02.
Zila, Scarlett, and Fin wind up together in a temporal time loop and a dark matter tempest and have to team up with someone from the past in order to get out and back to their time.
Kal and Auri wind up time jumping to the future with the Starslayer and have to forge a reluctant alliance.
Tyler is still trying to hold everything together despite having lost his crew in time and becoming a Syldrathi prisoner.
Will the team get back to one another in time (literally) to defeat the Ra'haam? That is the real question.
I laughed. I cried. It moved me, Bob.
This series is most definitely PG-13 for closed door, but very obvious sex, profanity, and violence.
K&K knocked it out of the park with this incredibly entertaining trilogy. I'm looking forward to when I reread though these again!
