The Female Persuasion by Meg Wolitzer

2.0

I found myself rolling my eyes a lot while reading this book—at the characters, at the story, at the way Wolitzer describes things, at the way the book tries to be contemporary and urgent but utterly fails to do so. The story certainly didn't live up to my expectations (which, truthfully, were based pretty heavily on the cover, which I fell in love with).
