Really not impressed. I didn’t much like the first book but thought things would pick up here and be more interesting. I wanted to give this series a chance.

Everything is too easy for the MC. Their plan to get her into the house is too easy. The friend doesn’t give her away. She finds the plans and escapes too easily. She meets up with her men who just happen to be attacking the exact time she’s out of her room getting the plans, including the one who was also a prisoner and also just happened to escape at the right time. There was no sense of real stakes.

It really feels like she’s the chosen one here, having to be special and save everyone when she has nothing skill-wise or personality-wise qualifying her.

It feels like you can’t decide what should be the point of the books: the reverse harem or the human trafficking ring. And because of this, neither are well-developed and don’t support one another. There’s no character arc. It does a better job than the first at getting closer to a full plot arc though.

Skipped a lot of the over explaining and ranting and didn’t miss what little was happening plot-wise.

Series isn’t really worth the time when there are much better RH alien books out there.
