Short form?
Disability portrayed realistically (IMO)
Realistic teenage characters (IE: she gets pissed off about things normal people would get pissed off about, rather than pretending they're fine)
Elephants!
Random adorable strange boy with adorable baby (although his side plot? Not so much.)
Parents are people! (although the mother's side plot? Also not so much.)
Overall, I really liked it, though.
