I am torn about this book, on the one hand I like the story. On the other hand it felt like it was thrice the size while reading and I had no sympathy for the characters whatsoever, which is probably the entire point of the book, but I didn't really like it. The story takes a long time to really take off and a lot of opportunities for progress in the story were neglected and ignored. The characters themselves are selfish, delusional and straight up confusing, sometimes even raving mad.
