Violeta by Isabel Allende

4.0

This is very beautifully written and I breezed through it. There is not much of a plot, as the book is more of a legacy piece.
The story follows the ups and downs of Violeta during her 100 years of life. I felt like the story tried to cram in heaps of issues from poverty, to sexual abuse to pandemics amongst other things. Overall, decent but the ending left me a bit underwhelmed.
