How to Avoid a Climate Disaster: The Solutions We Have and the Breakthroughs We Need by Bill Gates

5.0

Everyone should read this book if only to get an overview of the seriousness of the climate change problem as well as what is being done by businesses and governments to plan for a warmer planet. Gates doesn't have all the answers, and a few times he sounds like he's quietly promoting a few of the companies he's heavily invested in, but overall he paints a sobering, realistic picture of what the world is facing and how we can mitigate the sure to happen disasters that will increase as the decades pass by.

The book is well thought out and very readable, even if you think you're no sort of techie or climatologist.
