I would say that this book out of the three is the one that seemed to drag the most for me. It was majority plot focused, with very little development between Hades and Persephone. They just kept saying the same stuff to each other, so none of it was really new. I appreciated the fact that Persephone was given
a very visceral subplot of healing from the trauma of sexual assault and attempted rape. It was hard to read, but it made the book a lot more real.
The end was also a let-down. I really wish there wasn't such a major plot-twist and plot change within the last couple pages.
