From start to finish, this book is so disturbing. Michael knows something is so wrong with his family but he doesn’t know why. But when his brother, Rebel, starts taking him into town and he meets a girl, all he craves is a world where he can be normal for her. I had no idea, literally no idea where the ending was headed. I couldn’t have guessed it. The ending had my jaw on the floor. This book has all the trigger warnings so be prepared.
