Macbeth by William Shakespeare

4.0

Macbeth really went from being a glorious war hero to alright-imma-kill-everyone-so-i-can-be-the-king real fast and it was still just on point. I loved the way Shakespeare portrayed conscience and self-loathing with both Macbeth and Lady Macbeth. There is this special way of story-telling in Shakespeare’s works that captures oneself in an instant and after that, you just live inside of the story as it unfolds. At least that's how it’s been for me whenever I read a Shakespeare play. I gave it a 3.5/5
