Claire is an art teacher at the school and is running away from a bad marriage. There is a lot of secrets to her and her past that she’s worried can catch up to her at any time.
Knox is a senior and happens to live right next door to Claire, and uses this to his advantage.
I think this was written fantastically, and you really don’t get the feeling that their relationship is so forbidden. They connect so easily and he is 18 anyways so it’s not too taboo, other than he is still a student and there is an age gap.
There is a lot of mystery around Claire, who she is and where she comes from and I love how it all unfolds.
