this book had me all over the place. there were times were i really liked it, then other times were i hated it. overall, disappointing second book in the series.
cannot even fathom how the characters, the plot, and the pacing of the story were all over the place at the same time. sometimes it was hilarious, other times cute, even inspiring at time. then more often than not, it was all downright cringy and insufferable.

Screw platonic, I want catastrophic.
overall, such a strange reading experience for me because i've truly never encountered anything like it, which is shocking for me because i really enjoyed the first book in the series, Throttled.
