Although this trio of short stories comes chronologically before Spark Rising, I read it after and am glad I did. The stories themselves are good, but they gain additional depth by knowing who each character will become.
That said, story 2 was difficult for me to read because I knew Lucas would become a villain. If you're like me and couldn't really root for Anakin because you knew he was bound to become Darth Vader, I recommend you just read the first and last stories, which you'll adore.
And now I really, really want the next book in the series. Did I mention in my earlier review of Spark Rising that I want you to write faster? Please do!
