This book was clearly radical and progressive in it's time, but I think it's pretty dated now. The discussion of trauma is poignant and very human and raw, but the plot does revolves around some decenly fat-phobic & outdated concepts.
Graphic: Fatphobia, Rape, and Sexual violence
Moderate: Body shaming, Mental illness, Abortion, and Pregnancy
Minor: Self harm
