5/5⭐️ So so SOO pleasantly surprised by this read. I absolutely was not expecting to love this book as much as I did. Ive seen this book all over TikTok, and just kind of decided that I was never going to read. I’ve seems spoilers I see the plot twist. I know a lot and I just came to the conclusion that I wasn’t going to ever read this series. I am so glad that I did. This was like the perfect ya dystopian. Such hunger games vibes. Literally hunger games in a different font. This was such a great ya dystopian. I’ve read such good dystopians and fantasies this year or this past month and it was a perfect way to end this year and start the next year on a good note what kind of books I want to read.
Obviously, I’ve heard the plot twist but it wasn’t that bad because I thought it happened later on in the series and it was something that we learned to trust with him and then all of a sudden it happens. The fact that It was at the end of the first book makes it not as bad that I already knew.
This book was genuinely so engaging. I couldn’t put it down. It held my attention throughout the whole thing. It was just so good and fast paced honestly such a perfect book for reading slump.
