I noticed people saying this wasn't what they were expecting and I was mostly dismissing those notions as something people say about love interests with tentacles. But... this wasn't really what I was expecting, either.
Mostly I was surprised by the book's domesticity. I knew it includes erotica and probably some kind of humorous and cute sea monster and this was completely true, but I wasn't expecting all the fluffy family life. But what do you know, I enjoyed it. Usually I dislike stories that seem to just play out someone's fantasy but the setting here was so peculiar that I didn't find it distracting at all.
This is a really nice and fluffy story with plenty of sea monster tentacle erotica. So maybe it's a bit weird mix, but it still works. 4 happy stars.
