Love the One You're With by Emily Giffin

3.0

This was a good book, consistent with my prior comments that Emily Giffin writes solid books with a lot more substance than a normal "chick lit" author. That said, she again touched on the whole adultery theme, which really bothers me. The main theme of this book is "The One Who Got Away." The main character is newly married when she randomly runs into the ex-boyfriend who broke her heart. This sparks a major struggle for her as she tries to decide whether she is happy in her current life or wants to try to recapture the past. Although her struggle was pretty heartfelt and probably common, I just couldn't relate to her or sympathize with her or in any way condone the way that she handled the situation.
