Wow. I read this as a stand alone and it made my heart swoon. I swear I haven’t been this invested in a romance book in so long. The romance felt so real, so genuine. I was rooting for Lila and Reed the whole time.
Not only is this the best romance book ever. It also touched on some heavy mental health topics that I could relate to. While focusing on these topics, we could see the main characters journey growing and healing from their trauma. Them healing from their trauma and them realizing their worth, has helped me with my own issues in a way. This book has taught me a lot about myself and inspired me to start my own healing journey. And for that, I thank the author for writing such a heartfelt and meaningful book.
Now I’m going to read the first two books in the series. This book was so good, I just have to read more.
